All our cattle are Born & Raised on Country Natural Beef cooperative member ranches who maintain ownership and control of their beef until the meat arrives at the retail cooler where our beef is sold. Because Natural Beef is becoming very popular, other companies routinely purchase live cattle through the video auction markets to fill the need. Country Natural Beef does not buy outside cattle in this manner or any other manner to supplement our supply. Country Natural Beef is the only Natural Beef group whose sustainable agricultural practices are documented through third party certification from the ‘Food Alliance’, for environmentally friendly and socially responsible ranching practices. Country Natural Beef cattle are pasture and range raised longer (average 16 months) and in the gathering lot for a shorter time (average 3 months) than conventional beef.
